Blondies with the Homies!Kate's Kick-Booty Blondie Recipe!
1 1/3 Cups (3 sticks) Unsalted Butter
3 Cups Light Brown Sugar, Lightly Packed
3 Extra-Large Eggs
1 1/2 Teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
1. Preheat the Oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13 inch Baking Pan.
2. Place the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and stir continually. After about 10 minutes, it should be medium-brown in color, not too light and not burned. Once it reaches, take it off the heat and allow it to cool.
3. In a bowl, add the cooled brown butter and brown sugar. Beat with an electric mixer or stand mixer (with paddle attachment) until creamy. Add eggs, vanilla, and mix, scraping the sides of the bowl. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix until combined.
4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
5. Bake the blondies for about 35 minutes, or until a toothpick can be inserted and removed with only a few crumbs stuck to it. If you would like them gooey, you can use less time.
6. Let cool and enjoy!
